Improving your window security

Insurance requirements
For insurance purposes your windows need:
- Key lockable window locks to all ground floor windows and windows on upper floors that can be accessed from a flat roof (Garage, conservatory, porch, extension etc.)
- All home contents insurance policies have details of the minimum standard of locks that you will need to have fitted on your property.
- Windows must be secured when the property is empty.
